The API v1 deprecation will affect only customers that have automated processes using the API key generated from their accounts in the API Keys section.
Unless you have set up such a process, I can confirm that you will not be affected by this change.

I want to make sure my forms/account are set up properly with the new API v2- can someone please confirm?
