How fields display when checked or not checked

Asked on January 4, 2023 1:57 AM

The default email response seems to be set up to show check box results with JUST the “yes” items. As soon as we make any edits to the default, it changes to listing ALL the check box selection and shows a “yes” or “no” answer for all of them. Makes the responses look messy.

We need an assist in finding out what the code is in the default form that allows for fields to simply not be shown on the resulting email confirmation if they are left blank.

Thank you for contacting us.
The “hide empty fields” feature works with the default template only. Once the template is edited, it becomes custom and the “hide empty fields” option doesn’t apply anymore.
If you are using Multiple Choice fields, you can enable the Group Answers feature for each and by doing so, only the selected choices will be displayed in the email notification and in the Submissions section.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further assistance, we are always ready to help.
