Form Submission

I’d like to have the user submit the form when they hit “calculate” without them knowing so we save a copy of the form they filled out and have it email to us. I am doing some unconventional use by not using the submit form but instead using “back” and “calculate”. The submitted form will allow us to monitor issues or errors if users call about it. If that doesn’t work – then maybe tell me how I can pass the form to another form by hitting one of those buttons. Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Once a form is submitted, there has to be an action to confirm that the submission went through, whether this is to show the user a message on the Thank you Page, or redirect them to a webpage.

You can indeed also pass the user’s input from one form to another, and you can even use the same form to pass the input back to it, but the users will notice that they are being redirected, even if the form that just loaded has their input.

I hope this helps and we’re here if you need further information or assistance.
