Continuum Marketing Group (CMG) is a marketing agency which works exclusively with remodelling contractors from all over the US. Founded in 2002 by David and Cynthia Alpert, their company provides remodelling contractors with effective and comprehensive strategies, and support implementing and managing their marketing activities.

What do CMG need forms for?

As part of their service package, CMG offers web design, SEO and social media marketing as key elements in their online marketing strategies and programs. Gauging a prospect’s interest is vital. And that’s where you a form as versatile as a 123 Form. 

At first, CMG started building their clients’ web forms in-house. What seemed like an easy task for an experienced web developer turned into a major time suck when clients wanted to integrate forms with various 3rd party applications such as Salesforce and email marketing services like Constant Contact.  

Their party integrations didn’t always go smooth, and further code iterations where sometimes needed. This created delays in implementation and additional costs, which displeased both Continuum’s clients.

Spam and security were also major headaches. Many clients were faced with more spam entries than real ones, which, at times posed significant problems with clients wasting time and analytics of results. 

For clients whose forms were integrated with a third party platform, this problem was extended further to their CRM and other marketing automation services, leading to cost increases and a drop in their close rate because of the spam. 

David and his team were looking for a solution that  would reduce time and work needed to create effective web forms. They also needed to create forms that could use smart logic to display leads with the right questions at the right time. Oh, and they needed to eliminate spam bots from completing forms and reject forms being filled out in countries where the remodelers were not doing business. All while providing easy integrations with 3rd party applications. All this could dramatically reduce their costs.

Thank you pages were now introduced, which redirected users to download pages, or triggered specific autoresponder emails.

We found that building forms that did not get a great deal of spam and that could be built, and modified cost effectively was a problem and one we had to find a solution for.

Another highly appreciated feature is the ability to integrate with their personal database in order to analyze traffic sources of the incoming leads, which helps the company understand where leads come from.
