General Definition This position provides item/inventory/BOM/Routing generation and updates within our ERP System. Along with this, is also maintaining and updating all data that is needed for our e-commerce website to interface with our ERP System. This position will be exposed to various departments/job functions throughout our company. It can help in understanding business processes and how they contribute to a growing company.
Essential Duties - Creating and updating items, build of materials, routings, within Sage500 due to new product/product line or an ECR changes. - Creating documents that will be used in presentations. - Creating material that will be used in training - technical documentation. - Gather and input data that will interface with our websites including the e-commerce site and the company website(s).
Non-Essential Duties - Assist with miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience with Microsoft Office Suites to help in PowerPoint, data entry, and technical documents. Must be self-motivated, work unsupervised, organized, industrious, and able to adapt quickly to changing situations. Must possess good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
Authority This position reports directly to the Vice President of IT.
