ACT "TAP"Workshop Series

This semester ACT shows are focusing on THE ROARING TWENTIES! It was the time of change, flappers, glamour and jazz.  It is also the time when TAP DANCE became an integral part of musical theatre.  All of our shows this semester will contain tap dance and our lead roles will need to be able to master some basic steps.  We are offering two workshops to give students a basic grounding of this fabulous dance style.  Workshops also open to outside students who may be interested in joining our tap classes in the future.

The workshops will be led by ACT directors Erin and Rhian both of whom have trained to an advanced level in tap.   The workshops will be different and so students can sign up to one or both.

We have a selection of shoes in different sizes so students who don't already own shoes will be able to borrow from us for at least part of the class.  Please put your child's shoe size in "other info".  Children should wear comfy clothes to move in such as dancewear, sportswear or leggings.  They should also bring water.
