Is there a limit to the number of rules I can use?

It depends on the plan you are on. Platinum and Professional users can create an unlimited number of rules, but Gold or Wix Starter application users cannot create more than 3 rules in total regardless of the type. This means that if you already have 2 field rules, you cannot create more than one, be it a field rule, a confirmation rule or a form rule. Lastly, Basic users cannot create more than one rule in total. Follow our features matrix for more information.

Try using multiple conditions in the same rule or setting up rules that affect more form fields with the same rule to achieve the results you are after, if using Gold or a higher plan. Or upgrade your account at any time to create as many rules as you want.

  1. Why do you want to limit me to only 3 Rules with a Gold plan?

That seems crazy! Unlimited fields per form, but only 3 rules???

You are making me wonder whether this is the right product for me….

    1. Hello Philip!

Gold plan user are limited to 3 rules per form as specified in our features matrix page. If you need more rules, you can upgrade to our Platinum plan that enables more valuable features, such as SSL encryption, domain aliasing and payment gateway integrations. However, you can still create advanced rules with the Gold plan by adding several conditions and subrules to a single rule. This means you can achieve the same results with 3 advanced rules as you would have with several simple rules, separated one from another.

Here’s our documentation on advanced rules: http://www.123formbuilder.com/docs/how-to-create-advanced-rules/
