Facebook forms with 123FormBuilder

Integrating forms and surveys with Facebook is very easy to do, due to the 123FormBuilder application for Facebook. Access it on the publish page (it will be installed automatically).

Choose the form that you want to post and the Facebook page where you want to post it. Afterward, you can update your page/form association or access your form editor directly from your Facebook page.

1. In your form builder account, go to the Publish section of your form and hit the Facebook tab on the left. From there, click on the Install app button, below the video tutorial.

2. In the lightbox that appears, select the form you want to add and on which page (if you have more than one per Facebook account).

3. Click on Add to publish the form on your page and select to which page will the 123FormBuilder tab be applied. Hit Add Page Tab to finish.

A confirmation message will appear on the screen along with a Click here link to see the published form.

The message in orange, above the form, is shown only to you and not to other people who visit your page and complete the form.

Facebook has a requirement that a Facebook page needs to have a minimum of 2000 fans to be able to use and publish custom tabs.

  4. When I click Install App, a Facebook pop up message appears that says ERROR “-Login Failed: You can’t use Facebook to log into this app or website because there’s an issue with its implementation of Facebook Login.”

    Does anyone know how to solve that?

  6. I want to post a registration form to a secret group page on FB but do not see that option, the only option I have is to post to my personal FB page. Is that possible?

    1. Hello Rich!

      Unfortunately, on Facebook you can embed forms only in fan pages. However, you may use the option to share the link of the form. Go to Publish → Form Link and copy the URL of your web form. Next, paste it in a post within the group on Facebook. People will click the link and fill out the form on a separate tab. Would this help?

  7. Hello.
    I need to integrate a form into my facebook fanpage. My question is, why can´t see the logo of my company into the form once I´ve integrated in the fanpage. I can only see the form but not the title and the logo.
    How can I do it? Can you help me, please?

    1. Hi Alfonso!

      Are you referring to the Facebook tab ? If so you need to go to your Page Settings and then go to Apps.

      Once you are there, you should see the 123ContactFrom App and if you click on Edit you will be able to change the icon.

Is this service free?
Yes, we offer a free form builder service. Just sign up to the Basic plan and you are all set. This plan is forever free, but you are limited with a few features only, such as 5 forms per account, 100 submissions per month and you have to keep the backlink to 123FormBuilder on your forms. Check out our features matrix for more information.
How many forms can I create?
It depends on the service plan you are on. Higher service plans enable more features, including more web forms for your account. If you need more forms, go to the My Account section of your account and click the upgrade button. To create an unlimited number of forms, either upgrade to the Platinum service plan or higher. Consult our features matrix for more information.
How can I publish my forms?
You can publish your forms in many ways, by using their direct URL or HTML link, embedding them with a JavaScript code, Inline HTML or iFrame, using the Facebook app or the WordPress plugin, using popups, the Blogger code snippet and many more. Once you have created and customized your form, go to the Publish section to complete your work. Read more in our documentation.
How do I change my form design?
You can change the design of your form for more information. in the Themes section, which is located in your form settings. We offer a set of more than 30 predefined form themes for your forms, but you can also create your own from scratch. You can customize the submit button, the logo and more. To apply your own stylesheets, all forms come with a custom CSS editor.
