Create a copy of a Google Forms from the form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The easiest way to copy a Google Form is to duplicate it. There are only four steps to do this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the three-dot menu button located at the top right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Choose the Make a copy<\/em> <\/strong>button from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A window will pop up, and you can rename the new form as you wish. Then, select a folder to place it in. You can also share the form<\/a> with the people who viewed it before. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. After you finish the setup, you can click on Make a copy<\/strong><\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Create a form copy from Google Drive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can also copy a Google Form from your Google Drive<\/a>. Simply follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to the form you want to copy on Google Drive<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Right-click on the form and choose Make a copy<\/strong><\/em> from the dropdown menu.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Rename the copy titled \u201cCopy of (original file name)<\/strong><\/em>\u201d to know which one it is.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How to duplicate someone else\u2019s form in Google Forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Google Forms offers a variety of form templates in its gallery. However, if you come across a form that you particularly like, you may want to duplicate it and use it for your own purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Unfortunately, you can\u2019t just do it whenever you want. You need editing access to that Google Form to make a copy. What you can do is ask the form\u2019s creator<\/a> to give you access by pressing the Request Edit Access<\/strong><\/em> button located on the top right. If the owner gives you access, you can copy the Google Form by following one of the methods described above.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How to duplicate a form template in Google Forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      To make a copy of a Google Forms template<\/a>, you must first choose the template you like. Then, click Use<\/strong> Template<\/strong><\/em>, and an editable form version will open for you. It will also be added to your Google Drive. There, you can rename and edit it as you see fit.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To share one of your forms as a template<\/a>, remove the \u201c\/edit<\/em>\u201d section at the end of your form URL and replace it with \u201c\/template\/preview<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
